Tennessee Alpha Racks Up Awards at Carlson Leadership Academies
At the recent Carlson Leadership Academy (CLA) in Dallas, brother Bryce Giesler ’78 received the Distinguished Alumnus Award. This award recognizes devoted and productive service to Sigma Phi Epsilon at the chapter, district, regional or national level. Since the award’s inception in 1978, less than one percent of alumni have been recognized with this honor.
At the CLA in Atlanta, Tennessee Alpha received an Excelsior Award for Recruitment after recruiting 50 men in the fall and another 16 in the spring. The chapter received a silver Revere cup to be displayed in the trophy case at the house.
Brother Kelly Williams ’92 received the Volunteer of the Year Award for District 12 in Atlanta. This award was based on his work with the chapter over the past year as well as his involvement on the national level as Chairman of the Volunteer Task Force.
