Out-of-towners as well as local Sig Eps, spouses, and guests can look forward to an enjoyable gathering for the annual planning retreat at the Tally Ho Inn in Townsend, TN. The weekend will be a great mix of business and socializing. Business will be the order of the day on Saturday morning as we review and solicit input regarding events and communications. Chapter housing and the Scholarship Foundation will also be discussed. Active chapter officers will attend the morning session and give an update on chapter operations. A major topic of discussion will be plans for Tennessee Alpha’s 100th anniversary celebration in 2013.
After a morning of work, everyone will break for lunch. Then, after wrapping up a few details, the afternoon will be free for rest and socializing in the cottage. Following a 6:00 p.m. social hour, the group will enjoy a nice dinner for those who are interested. Whether you spend the night or just attend the daytime meetings, it’s a great opportunity to rendezvous with friends while providing a productive overview of alumni business.
