The Tennessee Alpha Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon held the ribbon cutting of Friday, September 9th, 2011 on The University of Tennessee campus.  In attendance were alumni and actives from the chapter as well as representatives of Sigma Phi Epsilon headquarters, The University of Tennessee, Johnson & Galyon (General Contractor), and PurserLee (Architect).  The ribbon cutting celebrated a $2.5 million dollar renovation giving Sig Ep a first class facility on the UT campus.

After the ceremony, alumni toured the facility and enjoyed light refreshments.  A Barbeque lunch at the chapter house on Saturday before the UT / Cincinnati football game.  The weekend was a huge success and was capped off by a Vol victory over the Bearcats at Neyland Stadium.  Thanks to all those who came out to celebrate our new home!

  1. Wonderful pictures and write-up on the new House for Tennessee Alpha!
Now if only the active chapter and pledges can figure out how to keep the
place clean, and looking nice! The old house became a pig stye, and it
was almost embarrassing to take our wives or dates in the place.
I really enjoyed the pictures, the write-up, and the overall excellent report
on the ribbon cutting ceremony, and only wish I had been there!
