Tennessee Alpha Awards Over $47,000 in Scholarships
The active chapter awarded $5,000 in scholarships to incoming freshmen at the University of Tennessee as part of their Balanced Man Scholarship Program.  This marks the 21st year of the program.  The scholarships were awarded at The Foundry during the Balanced Man Scholarship Banquet on Saturday, August 17th.  Alumni scholarships of over $42,000 were also awarded to undergraduate members of the chapter by the Tennessee Alpha Scholarship Foundation.  This brings the total number of scholarships awarded by the Foundation since 1980 to over $840,000.  Congratulations to all scholarship recipients!
