The old brass letters that spelled out “SIGMA PHI EPSILON” on the front of the chapter house were removed to make room for the new back lit greek letters. However, this week, they found a new home as David Morgan ’60 had them mounted in the courtyard over the entrance to the dining room. The S, P, and E had been stolen, but Rob Carroll ’68 was able to secure replacement letters so that the other letters could be re-used. The new letters make for a nice additon to the new courtyard. Be sure you check them out the next time you are at the chapter house!
Thanks to David and Rob re the Sig Ep name in the patio. This is a very nice addition and one we should all appreciate. And, thanks to all the corollary efforts made to accomplish it! The House looks great, and, undergraduates, we need to keep it that way. Way to go TN Alpha Chapter.
The fraternity name SIGMA PHI EPSILON looks great in the picture, and
I’m sure it’s just as nice looking on the house. Also, the initials, SPE, that
David Morgan had placed on the entrance to the back was a great addition
to the house. My thanks to all who helped get this work done, and who had
the idea in the first place. Now, I just pray that the active chapter will keep the
house clean and looking nice on the inside. No excuses, Brothers, just get it
done.
That looks fantastic. A real class act. I had a chance to tour the refurbished house soon after it was reopened and was blown away. Looking forward to the Centennial Celebration in April.
