Justin Cowan Attends Ruck Leadership Institute

Congratulations to Justin Cowan, who attended the prestigious SigEp Ruck Leadership Institute in Richmond, VA this summer. This very exclusive opportunity is reserved for SigEp’s best and brightest. Justin will be applying what he learned to help Tennessee Alpha get even better!

Justin’s home town is Clarksville TN. He is  a junior, majoring in Marketing and Supply Chain Management, and currently serves the chapter as the Vice President of Communications.

The Frank J. Ruck Leadership Institute equips students to lead culture change that extends beyond their chapter and campus and into their community. Executive-level alumni mentors guide attendees on how to engage in difficult and meaningful conversations — a skill they often can’t develop on their campuses. Scholars are selected through a competitive application process, and they leave with an awareness of their own leadership styles and a new and better vision for the future.

The Ruck Leadership Institute was launched in 1999, with a curriculum based on the world-renowned book, The Leadership Challenge, co-authored by Brother Barry Posner, California- Santa Barbara ’70.
