Seven UTK Freshmen were awarded a total of $5000 in SigEp “Balanced Man Scholarships” this year at the TN Alpha “Balanced Man Scholarship” Dinner.
Sunday September 24 the Tennessee Alpha Educational Foundation awarded Balanced Man Scholarships (BMS Scholarship) to incoming freshmen at the University of Tennessee – Knoxville.
For the past 21 years our BMS Scholarship has rewarded young men who demonstrate the traits we believe are important in leading a balanced lifestyle. Applicants are evaluated for their achievements as scholars, athletes, leaders, and gentlemen. Fifteen finalists, all first time incoming freshmen, and their parents attended as guests of the chapter. This year the chapter awarded seven scholarships totaling $5000.
