Alumni Weekend 2016 - April 22-24

Alumni_Weekend is just around the corner and plans have been finalized for a first class event. We have incorporated some of the feedback we have received from past weekends to make this year’s event special.

The deadline for registering is April 15th. Don’t wait, send in your registration form and payment today.

Alumni Golf Tournament – Friday, April 22nd at Egwani Farms (8:30 shot gun start)
This year’s tournament will include lunch. To sign up, complete the bottom of the registration form. Checks are to be made payable to Tennalspe, Inc. as all proceeds will benefit the Scholarship Foundation. If you don’t have a team – no problem – just register and we will assign you to a team. Appropriate golf attire is required (soft spikes, collared shirt, and no denim).

Alumni Brunch – Saturday, April 23rd at The Bistro at the Bijou (9:30 a.m.)
We will return to the Bistro as it has been a very popular venue in the past. The Alumni Brunch has become one of the more popular events so don’t miss it! Business casual attire is appropriate.

Founder’s Day Celebration Reception – Saturday, April 23rd at The Southern Depot
(Reception begins at 5:30 p.m.)
This is the big event of the weekend and one you don’t want to miss. We will celebrate 103 years of continuous existence on the UT campus since our founding on May 29, 1913. We will have heavy hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar available. Coffee and iced tea will be provided. Dress is business casual for the evening.

Directions to the Southern Depot:
From Downtown Knoxville:
Head northwest on Henley St toward Cumberland Ave. Continue onto Broadway SW. Turn right onto W Depot Ave.

From West Knoxville:
Follow I-40 E to Western Ave in Knoxville. Take exit 388 from I-40 E. Take Broadway SW to W Depot Ave

Photographs
A team of professional photographers will be at the various events throughout the weekend and photographs will be available for purchase on their website following the event. There will also be a photo staging area. Information on how to order photos will be made available.
