The "Fellow" Award
Awarded to brothers who assume large-scale service learning projects that push service learning to the highest level and solve genuine problems within a community. Fellow projects provide hands-on experiences that teach leadership, mentoring, and how to care about and serve others — all essential steps toward becoming a balanced man. They put into real world practice our cardinal principles of Virtue, Diligence and Brotherly Love.
Sean's Story

When Sean Croker (TN A ‘24) noticed a lack of connection among students and staff at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, he created a free worship event open to the entire campus. Held inside the university’s arena in May 2024, the event drew over 7,000 attendees for uplifting music and messages from Christian speakers.

By the event’s end, 150 attendees were baptized, and $78,000 was raised, enabling him to reach even more people with his message of faith. The success inspired Sean to continue — a second event takes place September 30th this year, and will include all of eastern TN universities.

During his time in the chapter Sean was already showing outstanding leadership potential. He served as Homecoming chair, VP for SigEp Learning Community, and Chapter President. Sean was also chapter representative at the Ruck Leadership Conference in Richmond, and was selected as a Tragos Quest to Greece Scholar, though he was unable to make the trip.

When TN Alpha restarts in January of 2027, Sean will be working with the Chapter Expansion Team and the AVC to recruit and mentor men who embody the SigEp values of Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love.
